Bebushka Performs The National Anthem At The 5th Annual GO DJ Awards 1.28.19

The 5th Annual GO DJ Awards brought to you by the GO DJs Global CEO, Craig “GO DJ Hi-C” Williams will be presented at the A.D. Players George Theater Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 8PM where Bebushka will be opening the biggest Hip-Hop Award Ceremony in Texas with her audio + visual live performance of The National Anthem: The Star Spangled Banner. 

True to her established performance fashion, Bebushka co-produced the instrumental for The Star Spangled Banner with Record Producer Alawn, mirroring the late Grammy Award Winning Vocalist Whitney Houston at her 1991 performance at Super Bowl XXV. The video Bebushka edited to accompany her performance captures some of the greatest moments in American history; from President Barack Obama’s Inauguration, to Olympic Champion Simone Biles winning her fourth gold medal, to Serena Williams in one of her many triumphant victories on the tennis court, to LeBron James in his emotional comeback defeating the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals. 

These moments represent a larger meaning for the audience. To sing such a powerful record at a very controversial time with the aftermath that we have witnessed between the NFL and Colin Kaepernick as it relates to the social injustices that he knelt for, Bebushka wanted to use this opportunity to remind the viewers of how we still posses the power to mark our own greatness in this nation’s history despite trial and tribulation.
